About
Linda
Linda was born in Massachusetts and
has lived many places in the U.S.A. Some of them are: New
York, California, Nevada, Missouri, Iowa and New Mexico.
She has been practicing Transcendental
Meditation since 1975. She learned the TM-Sidhis technique
in 1979. This is Raja Yoga and the Sutras as written and
taught by the Transcendental Meditation Organization, taken from the teachings of Patanjali. ..... Well, Maybe. She's been reading more about TM and discovering that perhaps some of the things she had been told were untrue. To read more about her Transcendental Meditation experience over the years.... She has had several types of metaphysical
healing work done on her over the years. These include readings
by many psychics, acupuncture, acupressure, cranio-sacral,
chiropractic, and many other healers.
She has
also done readings on many people including soul clearings,
tarot readings and taught many forms of simple meditation and affirmation
work.
She studied with
Michael Blitz in Fairfield, Iowa in 1996 and learned many
insights into carrying on in life, organizing one's life
and having a positive attitude in life. One of the things
she studied in that course was Stephen Covey's Seven Habits
of Successful People.
She has had her
astrology done several times. According to American Astrology
she is a Taurus.
She raised a daughter
from 1981 till 2001. Her daughter Erica is now living in
California and doing great. Linda feels that she did a fine
job in being a mother during those years. Linda's up-bringing was not always
peaches and cream and many of the not-so-fun experiences
in her life ended with her, and were not passed on to her
daughter. Raising a child is a tremendous job, after all,
and a very important one.
Linda has learned many forms of metaphysical
work, affirmations and meditations in since 1986. She has
shared some of them here in this web site.
She has completed Levels
One, Two, Three and Four and level Five of Celtic Shamanism. She has had many
wonderful growth experiences through learning magical, practical, metaphysical work from Rob MacGregor in Taos, New Mexico.
She has been living in Taos, New Mexico
since 1997. She is attending The University of New Mexico
- Taos and is achieving a 4.0+ grade point average.
She also
tutors in computer use and works at the UNM-Taos library
as a library assistant. She also has several clients for whom she builds web sites.
She is enjoying
her life very much and awaiting what will be brought to
her next!

SOME
FAVORITE QUOTES
"Words can never
adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude
toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I become
that life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent
how we respond to it.
"I believe the single most significant decision I
can make on a day~to~day basis is my choice of attitude.
It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll,
my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people
think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position.
Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone
fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are
right, there is no barrier too high, no valley to deep,
no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me."
~ Charles R. Swindoll
"It is not our purpose
to become each other; it is to recognize each other, to
learn to see the other and honor him for what he is."
~ Hermann Hesse
"Yes, that's right... love should come before logic
... Only then will man come to understand the meaning
of life. "
~ Fyodor Dostoevsky
"Character is much easier kept than recovered."
~ Thomas Paine
"It is easy enough to be friendly to one's friends.
But to befriend the one who regards himself as your enemy
is the quintessence of true religion. The other is mere
business."
~ Mohandas Gandhi
"The solution to adult problems tomorrow depends
in large measure upon how our children grow up today.
There is no greater insight into the future than recognizing
when we save our children, we save ourselves."
~ Margaret Mead
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughful, committed
people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing
that ever has."
~ Margaret Mead
