The Physical Body
We live here on this plane of existence in these physical bodies made of skin, bones and blood. Do we take care of them or do we abuse them? Will these be our only bodies through all of time or do we come back in new bodies?
Is this the only physical body we have ever lived in or are we spiritual beings who live in a body for a time and then go back into our spiritual life after "death"? We worry so much about death. We think that is the end of our life. We try to stay alive as long as possible even though the body might be bent and broken. I don't believe that death is the end. I believe that this body is just a shell that we, our spirits, shed at the end of each life.
We should still certainly take care of these bodies even though some of us might believe that we are only going to get another one at the end of this life. We should drink plenty of clean water, breath fresh air and take deep breaths as often as possible. We should eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole foods as much as is possible also.
I realize that this is a stressful place we live in and that some of us had difficult lives, but give it a try. I have been losing weight here in 2017. I started about July and have lost over 35 pounds. It was just time. I'm now 66 years old in 2017. I want to take as best as possible care of my body. Sometimes it's just time to start treating your body in the best way you can.
I know I don't always eat what some people call "proper, healthy" food. I go to McDonalds sometimes. I eat red meat sometimes. I'm getting older and it's not always easy to make my own food from scratch. So we go out to eat. We did recently, in 2017, join a gym. We go twice a week. We live out in the middle of nowhere, it's a long 45 minute drive to town and we have old cars. We are on social security and that doesn't always spread far. We live in a tiny house west of Taos New Mexico. We have to spend money on keeping out solar panels and all their accoutrements up and running among other expenses.
I'm blabbing. Just do the best you can. Don't stress yourself out. Stay comfortable in your life as much as you can. Don't think you are bad because you don't always eat healthy and do healthy things. Do the best you can.
