What Are Affirmations?
Yeah, what are they anyway, and do we really need them? And Why do we need them?
They help us keep a positive attitude in life and help to keep only positive experiences in our life. Affirmations are very easy to do. I try to do some every morning and evening at least. I know there are people that say to do them several times a day. Do them whenever you want. Even once every morning is fine.
One thing that's easy to do is, when you wake up in the morning, before you actually get up, take a few minutes to think of things you are grateful for in your life. This can be people as well as things like sunshine, a blue sky, rain, and snow if you like that. Also you can be grateful for a warm house, your friends and family, your adorable pets, anything you can think of. Keep a positive attitude as much as you can. You can, of course, do a search on Google to get more ideas.
When you find some affirmation that you like, use it until you get bored of it, then find another one. Do a search on Google or DuckDuckGo or other search engine. There are plenty out there.
If you get totally sick and tired of all this and just want to punch someone in the face, it's okay to think that. It's best not to follow through though. If you are having not-so-positive thoughts then don't feel bad. You are not bad for having those thoughts. Just feel those thoughts until they go away. Watch a funny movie. Watch a dark movie. I love some dark movies. Sometimes they get me out of my dark mood.
